I’m Leia Weathington, a writer and artist currently posted up in the Gulf South. I’ve been working professionally as a writer for comic books, prose, reviews and SEO for over 15 years. I also work closely with LGBTQ publisher Northwest Press as their submissions manager and editor.

My first book was the award winning fantasy adventure comic The Legend of Bold Riley and work has appeared in multiple anthologies such as Smut Peddler and Absolute Power: Tales of Queer Villainy. All of my writing is speculative fiction with a hard lean towards the horror genre to explore the dark sticky interior of the human heart and the monsters that stalk its treacherous landscapes.

I do try to hot potato some humor into a narrative from time to time. You know, to add to the readers disorientation.
